This weekend we spent Saturday morning and afternoon with
some of our dear friends at Sekapp’s Apple Orchard. I am not exaggerating when I say that we could not
have had a better day. The weather was
absolutely fabulous! Ok, I will admit
the one thing that would have made our day better was to have Julie and her
family there with all of us. This was
our 1st families get together for our Ladies Bible study. I have been blessed deeply by each one of
these ladies. I have had the privilege
of walking through life with these ladies since the beginning of this
year. We have laughed uncontrollably
together, cried together, witnessed the Lord answer prayer after prayer
together, and watched the Lord do amazing things in each of our marriages and family
lives. There is no doubt that God had a
plan when he brought each of us together.
I look forward to every Monday night as the Spirit shows up and guides
our time together in the Word. It is
pretty exciting to think about what the Lord has in store for us as we continue
to walk through life together as sisters in Christ. Now on to our
day at the Orchard….

On our way home Kevin and I talked about what tradition we would start doing as a family for the fall. We both decided that every year we would go apple picking together as a family. It doesn't stop there...then we will head home for a nap and make a homemade apple pie together!
