If you want to get a smile out of Logan all you have to do is ask him to show you his belly button. It is such a joy watching his face light up each time he learns something new. This week it has been showing us his belly button. I wonder what next week will be?

Bubble Time
Last week was a big week in our house. Logan decided it was time to drop his morning nap. I noticed a few signs that made me think he was ready and sure enough at 16 months he has now transitioned to one long afternoon nap. This means Mommy and Logan need a morning activity to keep us busy! With the weather being so nice this week we have spent as much time as possible outdoors. I thought it was time for Logan to experience bubbles. It was fun seeing Logan's eyes open wide each time the bubble floated past him. He even managed to pop of few bubble on his own!
Favorite Day of the Week
Sunday is my favorite day of the week. We wake up, have breakfast together, head to church to worship our Lord, and then spend the rest of the day as a family. This Sunday was beautiful. We spent most of the day outdoors. We took Logan on his 1st bike ride and he loved it! He was smiling ear to ear as daddy pulled him behind his bike. After our bike ride we hung out in our backyard and did some yard work. It was quite relaxing if I do say so myself. Kevin ended our day by grilling us a chicken dinner!

ROAR!!!
Kevin and I have been working with Logan and teaching him animal sounds. I am proud to say his 1st animal sound is the Lion. He says it soft and sweet! This picture was taken right after he said "roar" and started clapping for himself.

Got OUT of the House
Kevin and Logan are playing, dinner is in the oven, and I spent the afternoon at the park! The snow has finally melted and the sun was shining, so I had to get out of this house. I called up a friend, we bundled up the kids, and took a walk to the park! It was a bit windy and chilly, but with jackets it was nice. Logan was not too sure about the slide and bouncy animals, but he didn't mind just sitting on the ground and watching the other kids play. Park visit #1 out of MANY more this Spring and Summer!

Our Big Boy
Last night Logan decided it was time he took control of the spoon. He was one proud boy as he took bite after bite. As you can hear mommy and daddy were pretty proud too! It was fantastic having Logan eat his entire breakfast, lunch, and dinner today all on his own. I even had extra time to whip up some cookies to have for Kevin when he came home from work tonight!
Poor Baby
It finally happened. Logan got his 1st ear infection. Not just an ear infection, but a double ear infection. It was a long two weeks in our house, as he also had a terrible cough. He was flat out miserable. We are thankful that we have our little guy back this week!
My Little Helper
The best way to get things done during the day is to have a little helper. I could not believe how much fun Logan had helping me with the laundry. He was completely focused on getting ALL the clothes out of the dryer. Always training and having fun with my little guy!

That Smile!
Logan spends a lot of time with his cousin Nikki and Aunt Tami. I must add that he absolutely LOVES his time with the both of them. Here are a few smiles they have captured of Logan during their time together. This boy melts my heart!
He is Risen Indeed!
Easter is and will always be my favorite holiday. Without the cross and empty tomb we would
have no hope. Life would be meaningless.
We would all get what we deserve…death.
Each year as I go through more and more experiences in life, I find
myself wanting to grow deeper and deeper in love with our Savior. I want to know
Him more and more. I want each day to be His day. I want to seek His face and not His hand. I want His heart. I want to be His hands and feet. I want His Word hidden in my heart. I never want to take for granted the grace He
gives me each and every day. Thank you
Jesus for taking my place and dying for me so that I will have eternal life
with you. Thank you for loving me
unconditionally!
After church Kevin, Logan, and I spent the afternoon with Tami and the family. We had a nice lunch together, had an indoor egg hunt, and played games. It was a nice Easter Sunday afternoon.
Leading up to Easter, I wanted to start one of our Easter traditions...coloring Easter eggs. Coloring Easter eggs with a 1 year old seemed a little bit "dangerous" for this mommy. I didn't think Logan was up to that task quite yet. With that being said, it still was a must to decorate eggs this year. We decided to use plastic eggs and stickers. It ended up being the perfect craft project for him!

Tami Turns 50!!!
On March 9th Tami turned the BIG 50! The one
thing she requested was to have a girls weekend away. She wanted to scrapbook, eat, and fellowship
with one another. So, that is exactly
what we did! We were blessed by being
able to spend the weekend together at The Elizabeth Lodge. It is beautiful! It was the perfect get a way. The weekend was full of scrapbooking, games,
surprises for Tami, and eating lots and lots of food. We even had the guys join us one evening for
Tami’s birthday party. We had pizza,
gifts, games and cake. There were many
memories made together as we celebrated
Tami’s life and what all she means to us!
