Fun at Parks!

Summer has now come and gone and we are enjoying the fall! It was fun getting to watch Logan become excited about going to the park.  It gradually happened and when it did there was no stopping him! By the end of summer it was hard to get him to leave. His favorite thing to do at the park was walk up and down the stairs. Over and over and over and over again!  Made this mommy a little nervous. Once he learned how to hop like a bunny you can only imagine how nervous I was, as he hopped down each step. He also found a love in rocks. He would sit and play with the rocks as long as we would let him.  My washer and dryer are doomed as soon as he finds his pockets! This little guy climbs on everything and jumps without fear. He is a tough little boy and if there are tears you know he really needs some lovin'.  There were many memories and giggles that were made at the park this summer. 

Nature Scavenger Hunt

Logan was smiling ear to ear as we took him on his 1st nature scavenger hunt. On his walk he spotted a yellow leaf, orange leaf, sticks, rocks, rocks, and more rocks.  As we were walking our neighborhood, one of our neighbors shared with us that he just found a bag full of  his special treasures from his nature walks when he was a kid. I have now started a bag with one of the rocks that Logan found on his 1st little walk!

Must for this Winter

Logan and I were treated to a fun morning at the Children's Museum! Katie has been wanting to take us all summer and we finally found a Saturday that would work for the both of us.  It was such a fun morning. Logan loved running around from one story book to another.  His two favorite spots to play were the amazing foam blocks and Where's Spot?. Where's spot? has been one of his favorite books over the last few months. I told Kevin we must get a year membership before Winter. You will see Logan and I hanging out at the Museum weekly!

A Little Makeover

This cute little rocking chair was passed down to Logan from his cousins, Megan and Mitch.  I decided to give it a little makeover. You can see Logan didn't mind the change! Logan loves his chair. I will find him sitting in his chair looking through his books on any given day.  Such a sweet sight to see!

Let's Go to the Movies!

We took Logan to his 1st movie today and he LOVED it!  His first movie was Planes and he sat through the first hour without moving, except to eat his snack and drink his water. We did end up leaving before the movie was over, but he sure did enjoy the big screen!
