Sugarloaf
We saw on the weather forecast that we were going to have beautiful weather and decided to head to Winona to hike Sugarloaf. It was such a pretty hike. A great way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon as a family.

Logan's 1st Sleepover
We surprised Logan by letting him have his 1st sleep over with one of his good friends, TJ. They had so much fun. I loved hearing all the giggles and conversations between the two of them throughout the evening. Oh, to be a kid again!

And So It Begins
Logan officially started playing sports this year. His first pick was soccer. You ask him why he likes to play soccer and he says because he gets to run all the time. We chose to do Upward this year and will do so again next year. Logan loved his coaches and hopes to have them again next year. It is so fun having family in town to join us on the side lines to cheer him on. Grammy from Texas was even able to make it to one of his games!

First Day of Kindergarten
Logan is off to his 1st day of school! He wanted to ride the bus, so I headed to his school once he was on the bus. I was there to help him get off the bus, but to my surprise he did not need me. He ran off and did his own thing. I was so proud of him. The bell rang and he got right in the line that he was told and walked inside. The doors closed and I looked around to see many moms with tears in their eyes. I was smiling ear to ear with excitement. I was so happy for him and how excited he was to go to school and learn. I headed home and enjoyed every moment of my free time. Yes, I am that mom!

Man Cave
For the past 15+ year Kevin has talked and dreamed about having a home theater. Well, he finally has one. I have a feeling there will be a lot of football watching this year!

Quick Visit
My mom decided last minute to fly out for the weekend. It was such a nice visit. We went on a few walks and spent time outdoors to enjoy the nice Fall weather. This was her first visit since moving to our new home. She brought Logan a baseball signed by everyone in our family. Logan thought that was pretty cool!

So Many Things to Share...
I never meant to go this long without sharing our everyday lives with you all. I am not going to hide the fact that it has been another hard year when it comes to my health. I am still on my journey of figuring out what is causing my chronic pain. But, I am choosing to make the best of the good days, My 1st priority is making memories with my two boys! I am a little overwhelmed at all the pictures that I have taken over this last year. I want to share them all with you!
We had such a fun Saturday. Logan always wants to help Daddy with whatever Daddy is doing. It is so much fun witnessing our baby grow up and become a little boy. I had to beg Logan to take a break from working with daddy and play with me in the snow. After I threw the first snowball at him he was ALL about playing! After spending most of the afternoon outside we headed inside to snuggle and watch a movie together. A well spent Saturday together as a family!
At 35 years old my mom still loves to surprise me. Yes, my mom and Tom jumped on a plane and came to Mn for a visit. They chose to come in early November to beat the snow. Ha! Apparently the Lord thought they needed to learn how to shovel and make snow angels, becasue we got our first snow storm the day before they flew out.
It was so much fun getting to watch Logan bond with Poppy and Grammy. It did not take long at all for Logan to warm up and them at all. I am sure it was the french fries they gave him on the way home from the airport! We packed in soooo much during their visit. We celebrated Logan' birthday, Christmas, and Thanksgiving. During our down time Grammy even taught Logan some dance moves.
