Every year we try to have a family camping trip with Kevin’s family. Last year was a no go for Kevin and I, so this year we made sure to join the family. We all decided to have our camping trip the same weekend Iowa State had family weekend! We camped right outside of Ames, Ia and spent Saturday afternoon getting a tour of the Iowa State campus. It was fun to get to see where Kalynn and Lizzy are living, studying, and enjoying their active social lives! It was a quick weekend for all of us, but we enjoyed spending time with each other.

Two last things: The guys got to witness Iowa State being blown out by the Texas Longhorns
and Kevin and I paid our respects by NOT wearing our Iowa Hawkeye gear. Go Hawks!
