Easter is truly one of my most favorite holidays. This song (Christ is Risen) helps me to remember how much Kevin and I want our focus to be on Christ in all of our traditions, that we do as a family, as we celebrate Easter. This was our 1st year of having the blessing of celebrating Easter with our little boy. Kevin and I took some time to sit down and talk though some traditions that we want to do as a family. Next year we will be able to put more to action since Logan will be a little older. Oh, how this excites me!
It seems that it is becoming a tradition to have Easter over at our place. This is really fun for me since most other holidays are usually celebrated elsewhere. With all of us going to church on Saturday night, we had Lance, Tami, Nikki, Steve, and Steven over for lunch on Easter Sunday. We even ate at a decent time! We spent the rest of the afternoon just relaxing, hanging out, and playing games.

Our 1st tradition started as a family is reading the Easter
story to Logan. Each year as he gets older we will talk
more and more with him about what Christ did for us!

We will also be doing an Easter egg hunt each year with our own special ideas!
