Kevin started
celebrating my 1st Mother’s Day the evening before, so I decided to
jump on that same wagon and do the same!
Logan and I took Kevin to Games By James to pick out his game of
choice. The week before Father’s Day
Kevin had been dropping hints how much he wanted this certain game. Since my original
Father’s Day surprise fell through I wanted to give him just what he wanted. It was fun watching him go back and forth
between three different games for about 30 mins. He ended up choosing the game he had been
talking about all week!

We decided to go to church on Sunday morning instead of our
usual Saturday night. Logan was zonked
by the time we were home. He was so cute
in his little outfit he wanted to wear for Father’s Day! I gave Kevin the choice to pick his restaurant
of choice for lunch and out of all the restaurants that Kevin could have chosen
he chose to grill out. He wanted to
spend the afternoon relaxing at home with just Logan and I. I must admit it is hard to beat Ribeye, garlic
potatoes, and Quinoa and Black Beans. It
was delicious!
We ended the day by Skyping with Kevin’s dad and opening up
a little gift that Logan got for Daddy! Happy Father’s Day to one of the most
sensitive, loving, and respectful daddies that I know. Logan has a strong man of faith, in you, as
his role model as he grows into a young man himself. Our family life would not be the same without
you, Kevin. We love you and call
ourselves blessed to have you as our protector, husband, and daddy!
