Kevin and I have decided that we are going to start making our birthdays a little more special than we have been doing in the past. On my birthday, December 1st, I chose to have the family meet at my favorite restaurant, Rainbow Cafe, for lunch. As always, it was wonderful. I was spoiled rotten this year for my birthday. I got everything that I wanted. My mom and Nana went together and got me an essential oil diffuser. Which I have used almost every day since I plugged it in. I also got a hand blender, Willow Tree Figurine, boots, silicone mixing cups, wall shadow box, and boot socks. Yes, spoiled I am! After lunch all of us ladies went Christmas shopping. This was the longest time I have spent shopping since my surgery. I literally shopped until I dropped. It was a great day!

As of last month our little boy has developed a love for hats. After I help him get his hat on he says, "I cute." I hope his love for hats will last forever. He is so stinking adorable in his hats! I think his new hat obsession helped form his new friendship with Mario. I had no idea Logan would wake up and make a new friend one morning. When I ask him if he has a new friend he says, "Yes, Mario." Andy, Logan's birth father would be proud. It really is too cute for words!
Kevin and I are in the process of becoming debt free. It is not going to happen overnight, but we are taking big steps to make it happen. We sold our 2011 Kia Sorento and immediately dropped the $300 payment. SCORE! We saved those payments along with other cash and bought our 1st cash vehicle. After much leg work we landed this 2003 Windstar Van. It checked out in great mechanical condition with our mechanic. There is some cosmetic things we need too fix once we save up cash.
I might be biased, but I believe Logan has one of the best dad's around. He can always gets the biggest giggles out of Logan. Logan's best friend, by far, is his daddy! While I am working behind the scenes making busy bags, planning crafts, and coming up with ideas to do as a family, Kevin and Logan are living it up together. It warms my heart to hear them as I work. I must admit I join in most of the time!
| I introduced Logan to Psalty. It was a hit! I still remember all the songs and lines as I watched it for the 1st time in years. |
Logan has started to pretend. Right now his favorite thing to pretend is eating "hot" cereal. We have been working on sharing as we pretend to eat our cereal. He also is always wanting to be like Mommy and wear my glasses. During the day he will come up to me and say, "Pretend, cereal please." I am looking forward to pretending more as his little mind develops more and more.
I got wonderful news at my last cancer recheck. There are no signs of the cancer returning and I have graduated to every 6 month appointments. We decided to have the family over for dinner and a bowling tourney on the Wii to celebrate. We all had a fun time together. There were lots of laughs as we all were a little animated at times! I am still thanking the Lord for His grace and mercy on my life.
