As you can see in my previous two posts Kevin's parents came for a visit...for TWO weeks! It was so special to have them here over Mother's Day weekend and for Logan's adoption hearing. We stayed busy visiting, eating, and playing games. They even worked hard in our yard!
Kevin's family went in together and bought us an ornamental plum tree in honor of Logan's life. It was nice having Kevin's dad here to help us get it planted. It will be fun to watch it grow, through the years, as we watch Logan grow. I have a feeling I may even take a picture or two of Logan standing next to it yearly!
Since we were already working in the yard I took advantage of all the help. I had Kevin and his dad plant my three blueberry bushes. Look who else decided to get in on the action! My weeds even got pulled in all my flower and garden beds. It ended up being a LONG day outside, but boy did it feel good to get all this done.
Anytime we are outside it is a must to let Logan have a ride in his swing. He loves the swing his daddy bought him. I LOVE it too! Each day I am able to get all my watering done while he swings and take everything in!
This little boy was flat out tired by the end of the day!
