Mother’s Day, this year, will always have an extra special
place in my heart. It was my first! My
hubby made this mommy feel unbelievably loved and blessed! The evening before Mother's Day Kevin walked into
our living room with a big smile on his face and said he wanted to show me
something downstairs. I knew in
that moment that I was about to be given something very special! Kevin’s family was over visiting, so we all went downstairs and found a comfortable place on the couch. Kevin pushed play and this is what we all
watched:
I have pressed play at least a dozen more time since that night! The joy that our son has put in my heart is a joy that can only be given by the Lord. This little guys smile melts my heart everyday, his giggles make me laugh out loud and his hugs and cuddles make me never want to get up off the couch. With all this joy comes great responsibility. My greatest desire is that we raise Logan to be a warrior for Christ and to show the Love of Christ to all!
On Mother's Day we all went out for a nice dinner at Victoria's. To our surprise all the moms had the privilege of getting a free dessert. Nice! I normally pass on dessert, but who can pass up a free Tiramisu?!?! We all left stuffed, happy, and ready for our next stop...The Plummer House.

| YUM! After three bites Kevin took over! |
It was such a beautiful day outside that we could not resist the
idea of taking a few outdoor family photos.
We headed over to The Plummer House to walk around and capture more of
our day with the camera. It was fun to see how many other families had the same idea.

I am humbled to add
the name Mom to my list of many names. I thank the Lord often for entrusting Logan Gabriel to Kevin and I as our son. Being a mom is truly a gift and the BEST job in the world!
